5th Annual Civil War Weekend at the Grange
This past weekend, George and I once again teamed up with the 67th New York, for another very successful event at Islip Grange Park in Sayville.
The weather over all was pleasant. We had a heavy downpour just after midnight on Sunday, but the sun returned to dry everything out by 10am.
There were I think more visitors than last year. At least it seemed so to me, as I was very busy at the Field Hospital.
We also had a surprise visit from our good friends, Eileen and Rich LaFountain. It was a delight to see them after so long.
