St. Mary's Cemetery, Staten Island

It was certainly a treat to be working once again with my old friends the Cucuzzas. John, Vic, J.M and Steve are original members of the Society who left the hobby over a decade ago.We got together again to commemorate the placing of a headstone on the grave of John Timlin Sr, 1847-1919, a veteran of the US Navy during the Civil War. Eight generations of his descendants were in attendance.
After the ceremony, I spent several hours at the Cucuzza home, reminiscing with them the days when I was a reenacting rookie.
Hopefully they will be part of our future events and living histories.
