Greetings.
With Remembrance Day only 2 weeks away, I thought that I would give those of you who participate, our schedule.
We'll be arriving in town early on Friday the 20th, spending the remainder of the day sutlering, eating, drinking, etc. We'll be hoteling in Hanover this year though.
Breakfast at 8am on Saturday at the Gettysburg Family Restaurant. At 9am, we will be meeting fellow members of the "Society of Civil War Surgeons", at the Camp Letterman monument on Rt.30 to place a wreath.
After Camp Letterman, we'll part ways with the Surgeons and head over to McPherson's Ridge for the first of three ceremonies (The Railroad Cut and Culp's Hill to follow) honoring the 14th.
George and I no longer participate in the afternoon parade, so we usually head out of town with the families and continue our Friday routine.
Sunday at 9am will find us at the National Cemetery, where we place 'City of Brooklyn' flags at the graves of the Redlegs interred there.
After the cemetery, we usually stop somewhere for lunch and then head home.
Of course we invite any and all of you to join us in Gettysburg for all of the above. Hope to see you there
While organizing corporate events San Francisco, prepare a team who can assist you and can solve any and every problem instantly in the case of emergency. Also try to make spreadsheets for preparing lists for everything.
