9th Annual Society of Civil War Surgeons Medical Living History

Back to work today after our 4th visit to Gettysburg this year. This time we joined our friends from the SOCWS at the foot of the Pennsylvania Monument for our yearly living history for the Parks Department, and as usual, we had a wonderful time.

Our numbers were abbreviated a bit, but we were able to handle the tourist population which was steady and responsive. Saturday was a perfect day, and although Sunday was rainy, we still had quite a few visitors who braved the wet weather while we put on our demonstrations.

I want to thank our fellow members of the SOCWS for being the finest group of folks that it has been my honor to know in this hobby.
