This coming Friday, George and I will be on the grounds of The New Utrecht Reformed Church, 18th Ave and 84th St in Brooklyn. We'll be joining The Friends of Historic New Utrecht, along with other living historians, for a day with local students. I'll be there the next day as well to chat with neighborhood folks and to celebrate the "Liberty Weekend" festivities.
A few posts ago, I mentioned that George and I would be going to Gettysburg on 6/30 to set up for the 150th anniversary. The date has been bumped up to the 29th. That will be five nights tenting instead of four.
